These Terms & Conditions apply to bookings made with World Pirate Tours Ltd, company number 14503411.

By making a booking, paying a deposit, attending a tour, or participating in any World Pirate Tours activity, you agree to these Terms.

2. Bookings
Bookings are only confirmed once a deposit or full payment has been received.The person making the booking is responsible for ensuring the group understands these Terms, arrives on time, and behaves appropriately throughout the tour.We may ask for the following details when confirming a booking:Lead booker nameEmail addressTelephone numberTour date and timeGroup sizeOccasion typeAny relevant accessibility, safety, or dietary information

3. Payments, deposits and balances
Deposits are used to secure your chosen date and time.Unless otherwise agreed in writing, the remaining balance must be paid before the tour begins or by the deadline stated on your booking confirmation.If the balance is not paid on time, we may cancel the booking and retain the deposit.

4. Cancellations and changes by you
If you need to cancel or amend your booking, please contact us as soon as possible.Because our tours are leisure activities booked for a specific date and time, the usual 14-day online cooling-off period may not apply to your booking. Citizens Advice explains that leisure activities for specific dates are one of the exceptions to the normal 14-day cancellation period. Our general cancellation position is:Deposits are non-refundableDate changes may be offered at our discretion, subject to availabilityCancellations close to the tour date may still require full paymentNo-shows or late arrivals are not refundableWe will always try to be reasonable where possible, but we may have already committed staff, venues, boats, booking slots and other costs.

5. Cancellations or changes by us
We may need to change, delay, reschedule or cancel a tour due to weather, safety, venue availability, boat availability, staffing, operational issues, or circumstances outside our control.If we cancel your tour, we will offer a suitable alternative date or refund any amount paid, unless the cancellation was caused by your group’s behaviour, breach of these Terms, or failure to attend.We may alter the route, venues, activities or order of the tour where needed.

6. Arrival and lateness
Groups must arrive at the agreed meeting point on time.If your group arrives late, we may need to shorten the tour, change the route, remove activities, or continue without some members of the group. Refunds are not given for lateness.

7. Safety and participation
You take part in the tour and activities at your own risk.Our tours may involve:Walking on uneven surfacesBeing close to waterBoarding and leaving boatsMoving between busy venuesGroup games and physical activitiesTug of war, sword fighting games, beer pong, karaoke and similar activitiesCrowded public spacesAlcohol being consumed by participantsYou are responsible for your own safety, belongings, behaviour and alcohol consumption.You must follow instructions given by World Pirate Tours staff, boat staff, venue staff and security.We reserve the right to stop anyone participating in an activity if we believe it is unsafe for them or others.

8. Alcohol and behaviour
Participants are responsible for drinking responsibly.World Pirate Tours does not accept responsibility for injuries, losses, accidents, missed transport, refused entry, or other issues caused by alcohol, intoxication, drugs, reckless behaviour or failure to follow instructions.Venues and boats may refuse entry or service to anyone who appears intoxicated, aggressive, unsafe or inappropriate. We are not responsible if you or a member of your group is refused entry or asked to leave.No illegal substances are permitted.

9. Damage and misconduct
You are responsible for any damage, loss, injury or costs caused by your behaviour or the behaviour of your group.We may end the tour immediately without refund if anyone in the group:Acts aggressively or abusivelyHarasses staff, guests, the public or venue teamsDamages propertyIgnores safety instructionsIs excessively intoxicatedBrings illegal substancesBehaves in a way that could bring World Pirate Tours, venues or partners into disrepute

10. Photos, videos and social media
We may take photos and videos during the tour for promotional, social media, website and marketing use.We will ask for consent before using identifiable images or videos for promotional purposes. If you do not want to be filmed or photographed, please tell us before the tour starts.You can contact us at nick@worldpiratetours.com if you later have concerns about content featuring you.

11. Personal belongings
You are responsible for your own belongings during the tour.World Pirate Tours is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal items unless caused by our negligence.

12. Accessibility and medical conditions
Please tell us before booking if anyone in the group has accessibility needs, mobility concerns, medical conditions, pregnancy-related concerns, allergies or anything else that may affect safe participation.We will do our best to accommodate reasonable requests, but some parts of the tour may involve boats, stairs, uneven surfaces, crowds, walking, and venues that are outside our control.

13. Food and drinks
Where food, drinks, shots or venue offers are included or mentioned, these may be subject to availability, venue rules, licensing requirements and operational changes.Participants are responsible for checking allergies, dietary requirements and suitability before consuming food or drink.

14. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot legally be excluded.Subject to that, World Pirate Tours is not responsible for:Injuries caused by your own actions or choicesInjuries caused by other participantsIssues caused by alcohol or intoxicationRefusal of entry by venuesLost or damaged belongingsTravel delaysWeather disruptionChanges to venues, routes or activitiesLosses that were not reasonably foreseeable

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
